You Need to Dance

Your Higher Self is reminding you to use play to connect your heart and mind.

Quite literally, you need to dance or do something that satisfies your soul to allow your mind to relax and become free. Rest, revitalise and connect to the Spirit within to revive you.

Dance is the coordination of heart, mind, body and spirit. It is a cele-bration of movement. With music it becomes rhythm, synchronicity and ‘at-oneness’ for mind, body, spirit. When the physical body is aligned to where heart, mind and spirit lead, this alignment connects to your core self.

We seek both the freedom and the connection to love. To connect to Source and flow you must go into not out of self. Your emotions either con-nect you to or disconnect you from that essential self. Your feelings identify and connect all the aspects of your core self, including the dissociated aspects (even when you are unaware of them). Through this connection to self you will come to the deeper connection with Source and the underlying energy of love that connects you to the universe that surrounds you. Self-possession does not only mean poise and dignity. In your journey to your spiritual core it means you have possessed (through acceptance of all the aspects of self including the dissociated ones) your core identity, which brings you to a state of flow.

Find the ‘dance’ within you when your mind becomes still and allows the rhythms of your dance to draw you into a wider awareness of self. In the dance you become unconscious and free of mind. To dance is not to provide a magic formula for the mind to seek Source. This card asks you to find what will help you to become totally present in the moment, become sharply aware of how you interact with your universe. This card is helping to encourage the mind to be at one with your emotions. Shifting the mind from being totally in control to being totally aligned creates the connection to the Divine that you are seeking.

What are the ways in which you dance, when you find your heart and mind are engaged fully as one – reading, writing, flying a plane, diving, playing with dolphins, riding a horse or walking in the forest? Listen to the rhythm of your heartbeat, your lungs moving in and out, the sound in your ears, the rhythms and dance of life in and around you. Give over to your dance to connect to life and Source.
